    hi all have a problem with a 99 honda civic 3 dr there is 17 inch wheels on it and the back wheels are rubbing off the rear arches when there are people in the back seat is there a cure...?

    Where are they rubbing, against the strut or on the wheelarch?

    If its on the wheelarch then you can get the arch rolled, a good bodyshop will do it for feck all. They shouldn't need to break the paint.

    If its rubbing on the inside.strut then you have a wheel with too much offset, you'll need new wheels or a set of spacers. Should be cheap enough for the spacers and really common for the civic.

    Whats the overall tyre size? Lower profile size might help, or a smaller offset. As mentioned, try a different suspension setup..

    Yeah, a slightly narrower tyre maybe or lower profile.Or flare the arches.Or tell your mates to get a taxi :)
