Travelling to London Gatwick next week via Ryanair, first time flying in ages! How long do I need to allocate for check-in - is one and a half hours OK? Is it the same for Dublin and Gatwick? I'll be checking in online/no baggage so its the delays through security that I'm concerned about. Hearing horror stories about queues etc.

If you are travelling from Dublin an hour will be grand. The queues move pretty fast at security. My daughter flies from Dublin five times a year and has never been held up going through security.

Depends what time you are flying at to be honest.

I usually leave 45 minutes when checking in online, maybe an hour is it's an early Monday/Friday morning flight.

You'll be fine with an hour.

An hour should be plenty, enjoy your trip!

Thanks for your replies - do you know is it the same for Gatwick (1 hour sufficient)?
