Hop buckings, is it just me?

Ok, is it just me or are hop-buckings a pain in the ass to fit. I always have trouble with the unit pushing them down the barrel, thus leaving no lip to hold the bbs. Is there any trick/nack to fitting them?

    Cheers,
    Lethal.

depends on the gun really, with a lot of them you can just remove the mech that presses the bucking and drop it in there while the hopup and barrel are assembled.,

You're talking about the ring. I beleive the bucking refers to the rubber itself. That the problem. I put the rubber/bucking on the barrel and try yo fit the unit but it just pushes the rubber down. Lubrication doesn't seem to help.

The lever and ring are out of the unit completely. Its a TB barrel so maybe thats why its always so tight, may not be the exact same outer dia as the stock barrel.

Turn the hop-up off, and push it in GENTLY. It'll go in fine, maybe your pushing too hard or something.....

No, try aas slow as possible. And as above, the hop lever and ring have been removed at this stage.
