    The reason for the limitation is that the hard disk file system is FAT32. The reason for that is FAT32 is older and therefore more compatible with different systems. With the NTFS file system, you don't have the same limitations. So basically, it doesn't matter what hardware you get, you can reformat the disk with the NTFS file system.

    and if you're patient with the credit card, you can get one cheaper in Aldi on Thursday, which will still be quicker when you think about delivery!

    [edit] i take that back, sometimes it will matter what harddware you get! Because that one on Pixmania is one of those multimedia jobs, it might not read NTFS so good! This is why they use FAT32.. more compatible! you might just have to fork out! :eek:

    Thanks wooly. The Aldi one doesn't do the multimedia thing does it?
    I'd like one i can plug into the TV as well as my laptop.
