(It never rains... second cry for help this evening :( )

The mouse port has stopped working on my KVM switch - Linksys ProConnect 8-station : SVIEW08.

Anyone ever come across this before?

I need to get at 8 servers, have them up and running and apps launched etc before 9am Monday. It'll be a pain to go at them individually.

can't you remote desktop into them all and switch between?

It happened me on a KVM before (Not Linksys) & I had to disconnect every cable from it with the machines powered off. Re connect them & power on the machines again.

It was actually in the manual as the only way to fully reset the switch.

Yeah, I had to make sure all of the machines were powered on for the mouse to work on any of them. One machine off out of the 8 and the mouse would work on none. Also, the switch stays on and working even if it's switched off and disconnected from the power. Strange.
