    Hi,

I'm getting NTL 3meg broadband installed this morning. I want to do a www.speedtest.net test while the technician is here. What ping, download and upload speeds should I expect?

    Thanks

Varies, depending on traffic and network congestion. I'm on 6Mpbs line in Dublin 1 and got this result a moment ago:

It's not usually as good as this. Every night this week there has been an interruption in service. Today I downloaded three ISO files from a colleague in Arizona and the speed was 750 KiB/s.
