Limit of a friendship?

Whats the limit of a friendship?
I ask because this has been on my mind 24/7 since about 10.40ish on wed night, i cant think of anything else and i would love to get some sort of idea what other peoples thoughts on this where

Can people give examples of when regardless of how close they are to someone, a point where you just termiante all contact with the person?

Rape?

Murder jumped to mind but i take that back, it would depend because if one of my friends killed someone in self defence or killed someone who had deserved it i would visit them in hail, but if it was unjustified i dont think i would.

What about betrayl? talking **** behind your back? in my experience this tends to result in being pissed off for several months/year or more.

I dont know i had more things in my head when i clicked post thread.
What about one of your mates starting on you? Or maybe someoneguy hitting a womman?

Anything else, at what point would any of you end a friendship?

Friendship can be a fickle thing in some cases.

I've done this tention works up to boiling point, a few punch's are thrown, alls resolved and back for a few drinks we go...
