Camper Van in Sth of France

We are heading to Nice in France in a couple of weeks. We have hired a camper van and are planning to travel to Italy and Switzerland. Havent done this before. Any tips on places worth seeing or things to watch out for??

there are tons of things to see and do, but 2 or 4 that spring to mind straightaway are avignon, arles, les gorges du verdon, and les calanques. depending which direction you take, there is also portofino in italy which is lovely and this time of year, when there aren't too many tourists is just amazing. as for switzerland, nothing jumps out. it's just a beautiful mountainous country but can't think of one unmissable spot. locarno is lovely also
