    Have 01 Fiesta.
Got her serviced this day last week, since then ive noticed that she's leaking a small amount of engine oil.Took a full container of oil to fill it back up last night. There isnt a huge puddle under the car but it definitely is leaking.
Is just this a coincidence or is it possible something in the service wasnt done right.
Should i be able to bring it back to the garage?Ive been so busy with work that i havent been able to contact the garage yet, should i have some comeback with them?

Sounds like they didnt tighten either the oil filter or sump nut enough and this is creating a small leak.

How come when you send a car in for a service that something else always seems to go wrong.

Give them a ring or just bring it back for them to have a look at.

Ring them. If the oil was changed perhaps the plug wasn't tightened enough or they might use a different oil which is thinner and can leak where a thicker oil might not.

If you take this comment and match it to some of the recent threads about making sure your prospective purchase has a "full service history" it makes you wonder why people bother seeking out a full service history. If the service is not done right what good is it having the history.
If a garage is that sloppy with something as simple as an oil change what are they going to be like when it comes to a more complicated job??

OP the two areas to check for th cause of the leak are around the oil filter & around the sump plug underneath, these are the only two areas that wil be disturbed during an oil service.
