Looking for some tips on how to tone up my legs.looking for both lower and upper leg exercises (in gym). I can Hack-squat 450lbs and leg press 720lbs. With the hack squat i would usually do 6 x 30 reps per session and with the 720lbs i would do maybe 3 x 10 per session. I would also do more than the above with less weights on. Any ideas would be greatfully recieved. Thanks

P.S if it makes any difference i also play rugby 3times a week.Im a centre who is currently working on getting my fitness back to where it should be (got lazy for 2 years!)

    Do you do back squats?

Also, as a rugby player, the need to transfer power from your hip drive to your extremities is pretty important imo. Play with Overhead Squats, you'll be surprised just how light you've to start off with.

    How short is your ROM?

I find it hard to beleive you'd be doing hack squats with 450lbs for sets of 30 and still be concerned about your leg size/tone.
