Re-installation of a Clear-way, how to go about it?

    Hello,

I saw a thread recently about how to go about getting a stop sign or a double yellow sign installed.

How would one go about getting a Clearway reinstalled. It was removed at the end of the works on the Red Luas Line and never put back. The signs, at least.

Now, cars park willynilly on the footpath, on the cycle lane. It's a mess. One can't walk along the path two abreast. Either meeting someone coming in the opposite direction or walking with someone, you can only go single file.

Cycling along, it makes me feel vulnerable when I have to veer to the outside edge of the cycle track/lane and traffic passing, esp buses and trucks.

I also think it's unsafe. When the emergency services need to get by in a hurry, the vehicle on the road by the vehicle on the cycle lane can't pull in. The car behind can't pull in because the road is blocked in front. And on and on it is. It's very slow in making space for emergency vehicles to get by.

Should I contact the Superintendant in the local Garda Station, or DCC's Traffic Dept?

    regards
    T
