it's been confirmed on UFC.com that Chuck is facing Rashad Evans in London

I have no interest in seeing Rashad fight, a waste of a Chuck fight if you ask me, he doesnt have many left.

Works for the yanks though. Evans is seen as a strong fighter by them and he is currently unbeaten. If your not that into it makes sense in a way.

Me, i'm still just pissed as i haven't rolled in four weeks due to illness, at this point i'd ****ing get in the cage with Chuck once it went to ground.

At least i'd get a brief roll.:(

Chuck definately doesn't have many fights left & it will be even more of a waste for him when Rashad beats him......Which I think he will by Decision.

Dragan, sorry to hear your sick, 4 weeks is along time to go between rolls.

Rashad isnt a PPV draw, and alot of ppl lost interest after his yawn fest with Bisping.

I dont see how Rashad wins this fight. He cant win the standup battle, he will struggle to get chuck down, and keep him there, he isnt known for his submissions or GNP.

I agree it's a waste of a fight for Chuck given his drawing PPV power.
I feel it's a logical fight though given the winner of Machida vs Tito (which will be Machida) won't fight again until September..ish.

To the UFC and those people riding the Liddel band wagon, that's a very long layoff for Chuck not fighting & they have been pushing for Liddel vs Rampage III since last July.

They need a major star anyway to promote the show in the UK.

I bet Dana White wishes he didn't make that Machida-Ortiz fight now, given that Ortiz disses the UFC in every interview.

Also Rashad is too small for Chuck and will be giving up alot of reach, plus his wrestling is not as effective as it should be.

I really wish Shogun wasn't hurt. I love lots of fighters considered boring, but I never have any fun watching Rashad fight. I don't know about all of this talk about Chuck only having a couple of fights left, but this still feels like a bit of a waste. Wanderlei made Chuck look great because he went out there to box and has little T Rex arms. Win or lose, noone generally looks good in a Rashad Evans fight unless one of them is Sean Salmon.

rashad likes to box as if he's a real boxer and not a mixed martial irtist, he has some good wrestling but can't finish and i believe chucks wrestling and submission game is far stronger, <from the one or two times he's kinda hinted at it>

boring fight but a chance for rashad to redeem himself after the worst main even in ufc history (................................yeah, i think it is) and a chance for chuck to score a highlight reel knockout which he hasn't really had since babalu

It's alright dude. Seem to be getting used to meds and stuff now so hopefully will be able to make it back within a week or two.

Back to square one mind, wonder if i will throw up my first night back? :D

Glad to here Werdum is fighting, though feel pretty bad he got dropped from the title picture.

    Quote from Sherdog.com Today
Roan Carneiro (Pictures) and Ryo Chonan (Pictures) have signed to fight at UFC 85 on June 7 in London, sources close to both camps have told Sherdog.com.

The bout will be a rematch of a Feb. 12, 2005, meeting in Deep. Chonan (14-8) stopped the Brazilian on a cut in that first fight after landing a knee as Carneiro (12-6) tried for a takedown.

Both fighters have since dropped from the middleweight division to 170 pounds.

This should be a good bout however Ryo Chonan did not look good against Karo the last time he fought.

While it wasn't tecnically a knock out (see what i did there) I liked his knock down of Vernon White....it features in all Chucks best bit build ups.
