Yamaha Sound Card.

I have a PCI Yamaha sound card that I want to install on a machine with XP Home.

I fitted the card & the system picked it up & installed drivers for it.

It shows in the Device Manager as "This Device Is Working Properly" & there are no conflicts.

I have it selected in the control panel audio section but in the sounds section it highlights the play button when I choose a Windows sound but no sound when I click it.

I'm getting no sound from it (Via the speakers) at all.

This card was working fine in the last PC it was in but I have no details other then that (Not sure if it was even XP)

The only details I have for the card are:

    Yamaha Xwave FCC ID: LWHA301J8

Could I have the wrong drivers?

Could it need some sort of lead between it & the MOBO?

    All suggestions welcome.
