I don't think I can wait 3 weeks for God of War for PSP and want to import it pronto. Whats the verdict on videogameplus.ca in regard to shipping and delivery time?

I ordered Assassins Creed off them and the delivery time was about 4 or 5 working days which i was fairly impressed with.

The price was €45 including shipping €25 cheaper than in shops here.

    Great site.

Prices are always a good €20-€25 cheaper than the high street here, and sometimes they have real bargains on it. I picked up Drakes for €35 just after Christmas.

They usually deliver fairly sharpish aswel.

    +1 from me too.

Ordered two games from them. Both arrived in 4 to 5 days. You pay €5 shipping per game.

Great company to deal with. Usually get my games in 3-5 days from them.

Alright I'm convinced. Going to check it out now.

No complaints here either. I will never buy a game in a shop again as long as that website is there.

No complaints here either, in fact I ordered GoW from them last night...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,332 ✭✭✭311

I got a DS lite for €110 total ,which was 90 + 20 dhl shipping.
That was right before christmas and it only took a few days :)

    They're a great bunch o' lads.

I get most if not all of my ps3 games from them. Never had any problems.

Will anyone get GTA form them or will it be a Tescos jobby at midnight?

So is this place even cheaper than the cheapest ebay sellers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭ongarite

Probably not but its not eBay so thats +1 in my book.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,721 ✭✭✭Otacon

+1 to everyone above. I got UT3 for PS3 from them about 3 months ago. Arrived within 4 days. Very impressed. I do not understand why I don't use it more!

I will. I am not bothered about getting it ontime if it means a saving of 15/20 euro

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 183 ✭✭writetojd

To the OP the game only came out in north america on march 4th so you prob had it on pre-order. I get games from them and find the shipping and price to be spot on, bit cheaper the the shops for new games and it doesnt take long to arrive. A few ebay sellers the games tend to come from hong-kong so thats a 3 week wait straight away.

A user on this thread suggests that previous Rockstar games had region locks, and this game may have too

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,339 ✭✭✭✭tman

I know I've already posted, but just had to give another vote of confidence...
Ordered No More Heroes on Sunday and received it today. Amazing that it takes less time for an item to come from Canada than it does from Jerysey:confused:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,785 ✭✭✭Irish Gunner

Anyone have any problems with the delivery from here

Ordered last Friday and got the mail confirm sent etc

Getting delivered by dhl and when I key in the billing code it states delivery delayed ?

Whats the normal turn around time?

BTW ordered Time Crises 4 with Gun

    No worries with PS3 version,

And GTA just feels a lot nicer on Dual Shock.

Having completed 3, VC and SA on Ps2, i found SA was horrible to play with the 360 pad.

    Anyway, roll on GTAIV !!!

I heard there was something like 80)can't remember the exact figure) being allocated to Irish shops. If you want it that badly I'd definitely pre-book online.

Received my Time Crises yesterday not bad delivery time from Canada :D

Ordered it on the 7th so just less than a week delivery time

I was in town the other day and saw Assassins Creed on sale for €75  :D
Oh, and second-hand PS3 games for €60? pfff
I'll be buying all my games online until sony/retailers snap out of it.

They don't know the differance, sure anyway with the PS3 anyway it does'nt make a diff'

Got TW 09 off them and it arrived 3 working days after release(came out on the Thursday and i got it Tuesday morning), €42 is a decent price, i'd only use them for a game i could wait an extra few days for, FIFA for instance will be a day release purchase(have €35 credit slip towards that anyway)

does that mean pro evo 2009 if ordered from VCP would not be able to play against people who have pal version?

I made an order with VG+ which was shipped last Tuesday (23rd) and hasn't arrived.

Anyone else experience something similar? From my own experience I was expecting it within 7 days at the latest.
