    SiSi @ The Cellar Underground
    Saturday 10pm

    Dia do bheathasa,

Time relentlessly marches on, the weather continues it's spasmodic waltz from wan spring sunshine to full-blown gale-force storms.... still, one thing remains constant - our Saturday tri-weekly party in the Cellar. There's many ways we could pretty it up and present it. How about this for size?

"SiSi take no prisoners this Saturday night at the Cellar Underground playing an exclusive set of upfront tunes on a 200W sound system to a sophisticated crowd"

    Rough translated as...

    "Take no prisoners"

Four hours of engine piston sounds & feedback.

    "Exclusive set"

DJs can't get any gigs anywhere else.

    "Upfront tunes"

Tunes no one has ever heard of and will not dance to

    "200W sound system"

You will not be able to hear properly for the next week.

    "Sophisticated crowd"

Bottled beer five times normal price.

In other news, one of our SiSi edits is being released this week on a new Bugged Out compilation. The story goes a little something like this. One cold February evening three years ago, we edited a track by Ost & Kjex for our 110th Street sessions at the Vic, turning the innocuous original on it's head and coming up with what we thought was a playful tool for the dancefloor. Some time later, Berlin DJ Boys Noize came to play for us and we handed him a copy of our overhauling of 'Hasta Luego Manchego' (Martin Hornveth Mix). It would be fair to say that he liked it a lot, as the track has been one of the secret weapons of his DJ sets ever since. Regular plays from the busy DJ has seen the track cause a storm on internet blogs worlwide, we've had queries from punters as far afield as New York and New Delhi wondering how they might get their hands on it. The wait is finally over with the edit making an appearance on Boys Noize's new 'Suck My Deck' compilation for the legendary Bugged Out! club standing proud (whilst triumphantly humming 'The Fields Of Athenry' to itself) alongside cuts by Alter Ego, Modeselektor, Apparat and Justice. The compilation will be released on the New State label on Lá le Pádraig.

And they all lived happily ever after.
