bars with cocktails

Hi everybody

Im looking for some bars during midweek (tuesday til thursday) in center of Dublin where cocktails are nice and not expensive

I know Q Bar is cool with its 5 euros - cocktails...
Traffic is expensive (twice more..)
What else ?
Which bar/pub do u advise me and cocktails r nice and music not too bad (like Q bar for expl)

Try Capitol Bar. They do cheap cocktails....so I'm told by a friend....

The Mint Bar and The Lotts are good for cocktails. Don't think they're too cheap though.

I was drinking a cocktail called a TOUCHDOWN the other night:

Vodka, apricote brandy, lemon juice, passion fruit syrup and orange juice.

Was it a bit girly? YES!

Did it do the job? HELL YES!

The Dragan makes the best cocktails, i am straight btw. I start my night there, the best is the cookie monster and it's only €5 mid week and 7 @ the weekends

Capitol always seem to have some kind of cocktail promotion on, usually up to about 11:00. If you're drinking pints make sure you get a round in about 10:40, before the bar is beseiged with girls trying to line up their 15 cocktails each before the price goes up.
(Of course that could be seen as a good time to be at the bar, but you won't be getting served in a hurry.)

In fact, snakebite and black, with a creme de menth depth charge will get any girl you are after very drunk, but personally i wouldn't want to sleep with the sort of girl who would drink it:D

Capitol all cocktails are 5 euro before midnight and they have a pretty good selection. No Mojitos though which is just a travesty against nature.

Yeah but they've a lot of alcohol in them, and most of the other places have f all. I've had loads of cocktails in Capitol and never even felt a kick in them.

Thats so true. Cocktails in Solas have me spinning in seconds but I can drink them in Capitol all night long.

That would be hilarious!

Afaik the date rape drug is tasteless but it has a colour, which I suppose a cocktail could mask alright. OP should just hand himself in to the guards tbh.
