Is there any shop in Limerick where I can buy the whole Canvas Roll?

    Hi everyone.
    I am looking to buy a full roll of Canvas for my oil painting exhibition.
    Is there any shop in Limerick or anywhere in Ireland where I can buy a good quality Canvas with cheap prize as I want to buy loads. Also if there is any good art shop where I can get oil paints and brushes with a fair prize.
    I will appreciate help.

    If there is an art shop in Limerick (I'm sure there is) enquire within as I'm sure they can order canvas on the roll for you. I bought a good quality ready primed roll for €96 fairly recently.
    Good quality brushes and paint in art shops too, cheap ones available in bargain shops are poor in quality.
    There is a good art shop near the GMIT, Cluaine Mhuire college in Galway.

    hi, dont know if you got that canvas roll, but I buy mine on-line from
    www.corkartsupplies.com
    they are very quick , items received in 2 days or next day if you order early morning.
    they accept Laser which is a bonus, as a lot of sites dont.

    LIDL had an art sale last week. You could get a roll of canvas for 6/7 euro. I got 3 easels and loads of other bits and bobs. Maybe ring around and see if any of them have some left?
    They also had brushes for 5/6 euro (set of 15/18) but the paints I didn't touch.

    yeah aisling, I gave these a try before, they faded in no time. Canvas roll wasnt bad I tried it when they had it last, didnt realise they had it back again though

    Yea the lidl canvas is grand but it's narrow only about 2ft wide. If you want larger width canvas roll approx 6ft you have to get it in an art shop...

    Must take a look at cork art supplies site:)
