I'm looking for new laptop for my brother's medium size accountancy business to operate several accountancy and payroll packages .250gb HD min,2 gb ram, high end processor ,screen size not important, max budget €1500 (preferrably less:) ~ €1200). He's had two bad experiences with Dell, so would prefer to stay away from these machines.

    All recommendations welcome please

    Mr Woods

Many thanks AlmightyCushion, seems like a bargain compared to some laptops with similar specs we saw in PC World yesterday !! although I've heard of Asus, I'm not familar with their quality, reliablity etc, how do they score in this field ?

(Keep those recommendation coming folks :))

Asus make a lot of high-end kit for desktops. They also make laptops for sony, apple and samsung so I would consider their build quality to be really good.
