    Hi!

I'm coming from Cork to Dublin tomorrow for a meeting. I usually come on the train, but need my car this time for an onward journey to the West. I was thinking of parking at the mad cow park & ride and getting the luas in. Is there generally space in that car park, or does it get packed out early in the morning? I need to be in town for 10.00.

    Is Tallaght any better?

    Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problem. I'm not a regular user but have used it a few times and always found plenty of available spaces even at 9am.

Dont know about the space, just want to help you with directions coz theres a lot of people having to circle back because they missed their turnoff. Go thru newlands and get into the righthand lane, citybound. When you go thru the next lights under the footbridge (which defies gravity) you will be moving over one lane to the right into a queing lane for the slipoff into the luas parkandride. You might have known all this and then again you might have ended up going down the longmile rd looking for a way back to where you were.

(Was down in Cork on Friday for the first time in years, was like I was on a different planet as I drove down, roads are just brilliant and not even half of what they will be. That drop down to the last roundabout on nthbound on the mitchelstown bypass though seemed a bit hairy for heavy loads/icy conditions, kinda like the old approach down to the Boyne bridge at Slane sthbound where bad things have happened) Be careful and get some sleep.
