Im trying to connect my ps3 to the internet with 3 broadband. I could not manage to do it the wireless way so I bought a cross over ethernet cable andnow trying to use that. What do I do. I connected it to my laptop and to the ps3 but when I goto wired connection the ps3 is saying connect an ethernet cable

Plug your PS3 into the laptop's ethernet port using the crossover cable. Then click on start, connect to, show all connections. then right click on the ethernet port and click on bridge. turn on the PS3 and select the connection as wired, not wireless.

When I get the internet connection page up and right click on the lan part and select bridge connection "to create a network bridge you must select to
Lan or high speed internet connections that are not being used by internet connecion sharing" appears.

When I highlight the Lan connection and the 3 broadband connection and right click it does not give me the option to bridge the connections. I think its because the 3 broadband is under the dial up connection part.
