I'm wondering what the best way to acquire an already taken domain is? The domain in question has one of those automated link pages on it...ie no real content so it's just been bought and held.

Is going through a Sedo broker advisable? They charge $69 for the service, but I don't know if they would negotiate such a good price with whoever owns it...I presume they wouldn't give it their all in the haggle to get me the best possible price?

Sedo or BuyDomains are your best bet.

The other thing to do is check if the domain is listed on any of the marketplaces with a guideline price (ie. minimum offer)
