i ran a scan on spy bot and it returned smitfraud-c, however spybot cant delete it, its located under C:\windows\privacy_danger so i went to manually delete it and says access denied, it also says the folder contains 0 Kb what should i do?
Would going into safe mode and deleting the folder that way work?

AVG isn't going to remove it

There really is no need to pay for anti-virus program, you can get excellent protection for free

    Do this

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
    • Close all other windows before proceeding.
    • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
    • If your anti-virus or firewall complains, please allow this script to run as it is not malicious.
    • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
