There is a review in this months AI - owned by one of the staff. Seemed very happy with even after a few hundred rounds through it. Was thinking of getting this myself or the King Arms free float one.

Was looking at one before but tis an armalite!!!
anything armalite shaped is just too common. (I sound like a snob!)
would prefer an AEG with a different less common profile.

All SPR's are free floating. Robster on this forum has that exact one. I bought the G&G one. There's also G&P ones available. They are far from short, they're just shy of 1m at approx 993mm. Also, they're semi auto only. They're a marksmans rifle so they don't need full auto fire. They take a lot of getting used to be honest, if you're uesd to just a rifle. A standard M16 would probably be a better option if you just want a long rifle? Or a M14?

i have the agm m14 socom, its quite a heavy rifle and would be tiring on the

arms during a skirmish i would imagine. its a good rifle, i like it havent

skirmished it, so i cant comment on its capabilities in the field.

    Pros:
You can't beat an M14 for accuracy
They look awesome, it's a universal truth
The iron sights on it alone are worth buying it for

    Cons:
Agm batteries are reversed so you'll have to modify either the battery or the connector. No big deal but just be aware.
Magazines are not standard STANAG (M16/M4) mags. They're a little bigger and a different shape. You'll have no trouble getting them, but again, just be aware.
Up close, like any other long rifle, they're a pain to bring to bear in time. However, it's unlikely you'll get into that situation so it's not something to worry about

I do indeed have this AEG.
It feels fantastic with all metal construction, out of the box performance is on par with most dboys stuff ~ the 1j mark
length is approx 96cm or 37inches or 3feet 1 inch roughly.
    Pics with scope and silencer

Thats an easy fix with a strip of insulation tape if it does, but it's not a complaint I've ever heard before.

tape can fix everything from wobley mags to ....unsecure fore grips.

Dboys m16 spr has semi/full auto modes.
you have to expect to change gearbox as DBoys are really bad.

Didn't know it had full auto too? It's not really a true spr then. Also, the version the DBoys one is based on is the SR15, not the M16. The G&G version and the G&P version is an SR25. There isn't an M16 SPR available in airsoft or in RS. There are however extended RAS sections similar to the SPR's that can be mounted on an M16.
