You should probably tell everyone a bit more information...

Yea, like where's the site? Local bit of land? Your back garden? Privately owned land with owner's permission?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 587 ✭✭✭c-90

is it okay to play on private land with land owners permission someone told me it wasnt?

ok, who is interested. Land is owned by Paintball Club which is registered under my name. It's 6miles from Waterford in direction of Limerick, and I don't understand one thing: first everybody are complaining about lack of ASG sites and then nobody whants to play. Strange. Game will take place tomorrow so if someone is interested, there is not much time left. I can give a lift to 3-4 ppl.

Humour doesn't translate well on this forum when talking about legal/safety issues. People get grumpy. Be careful. (An no, I'm not trying to mod, just give advice based on experience)

I'm sure you'll find there'sa good few people who want to play in the south east, they just might need a bit more notice in future and a bit more information on the site. You've only had the thread up for an hour, I'm sure there'll be a lot of interest.

Can you tell us a bit more about the site. ie Size, Is it woodland, flat open ground, built up, etc.
Saturdays is also a tough day for a few of us that have to work.. Will Sunday games be available at some point?

There is paintball going there on Sunday so I dun think so. (I can see what can be done). It will definietly organise game next Saturday. . It's a woodland site. There used to be Norman settlement. About 2-3 acres. Including flat area in the middle. Quite high hill. Everything surrounded by moat and forest with bushes. As we are not commercial opereation thats why we are not planing to charge any money. You come in with Your gear and BBs.

the next couple of weeks will be out for me due to an injury but i know 6ish people that would be interested in the near future if its is to be an ongoing thing.

I could almost be certain of 4 (with a very responsable 15 year old who's big into skirmishing if he was permitted) who could make Sunday games if they become available with an additional 2 players occasionally from overseas

If it was only 9km "from" Limerick it would be great :D
I'd nearly cycle there with an AEG strapped to my back!

Andros, Definitely interested, but a bit short notice. If it is on next saturday, try and post as early in the week as you can...

i agree with sci-ops , posting on a friday evening isnt the best idea,as most of us know early in the week where and when were going ,

but fait play to opening the site

This rings a load of bells....Andros, didn't you say before that this paintball site was privately owned by somebody else, and that you had to ask permision to let other use the field for Airsoft, I think there was a photo of it if I'm not mistaken. You've got me dead curious now:) There are a few of us in Clonmel who would love to give you a shout, but with such short notice and the fact that most of us work on Saturdays I don't think we could make it tommorrow(unless some of my staff took a sicky! Is there a chance of a game on a Sunday instead? maybe next weekend?

It is more less location http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=pl&geocode=&q=mooncoin&sll=53.612062,-8.893433&sspn=0.772344,2.570801&ie=UTF8&ll=52.295738,-7.259645&spn=0.00311,0.010042&z=17&iwloc=addr Quite hard to explain, because google maps don't show everything. I'm planing to have a game next Saturday (I'm saing this NOW to avoid any missunderstanding). We can meet at Red Rose B&B (not sure about the name). So any body form Waterford I'll meet at Train Station around 10. and ppl that have easier access from direction of Limerick we'll meet at Red Rose.

It is not a commercial site. It's courtesy of paintball team that gave us access tp the site. (exactly girls team, which play on Saturdays)

It's true what u r saying, but like everythig in nature some stuff changes over the time. Like I said, because of courtesy of paintball team we've access to the site. Only because club is registere under my name (like it was before) it does not mean I can't respect them. I'll have a chat on Sunday about ASG. Wont promise anything for now.

unfortunately, people have come on here posting about how they are planning to play on public land so although it may seem obvious, it's best to clarify :)
