I have a TLP 4000C that has decided not to do anything. I discharged 2 batteries, went to discharge a 3rd and only the power light would come on. Internal fuses are fine. Any ideas?

Check connections from battery to charger.

Nope, that's fine. The power light comes on but that's it.

    feylya,

i have 2 batteries that do bugger all when i connect them up. they do seem to charge if i leave them in for a very long time but the trickle charge light or discharge light never appear, in fact a faint light on the 3 light charging panel is all that appears. so it might just be the battery.

if you plug in one of the other batteries does it then allow you to charge?

sometimes i have to leave mine alone for a few minutes before it begins to work. mine is a tlp charger as well..it sometimes appears to be a wee bit moody...

Have 4000c aswell. I'd say check teh connections but thats already been said so I'm stumped. Try all the batts you have, any of them work?

BTW, do your fast charge lights (blue one) flash when you fast charge. Mine does, but I don't think it did originally.

4 batteries, 2 were discharged by the 4000c. The power light comes on when a battery is connected without mains power. It might be trickle charger. I'll check with my own batteries tonight if I have a chance.

So you have a power light without a battery connected?

Here's how irt should work: Plug into mains: Red Light. Attach Battery: Green Light slowly flashing and beebing every 10 seconds(Trickle Charge). One press: Green off and Blue on Constant, fan starts(fast charging). Pressed Twice: Orange Light-Discharging. Dont bother with the conditioning cycles.
