How do I get the internet address bar back?

The usual internet address bar on the top of a webpage is gone on my computer at the moment im using the search tap where a small window opens up on the left had side of the screan and I have to search for everything on google

Which browser? In Firefox go to View->Toolbars->Navigation Bar.
