Jobs posted by employers only?

    Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of a job site where employers only post jobs, not recruitment agencies?

I ask because I'm not a fan of agencies, I find they push you out to interviews when you barely have 1 quality the employer is looking for, & some have even gone so far as to blatantly lie in order to get ppl placed - all to collect a ridiculously overpriced commission.

Then there's also the obligatory 'have to meet you in person before sending you out for interviews' thing. I work for a complete & utter w*nktard of a man, not to put too fine a point on it, & there's only me & him. More often than not he's away, thank chr*st but he's constantly on the phone barking orders so I can't leave the office. And even when he's here, well to be honest I'm lucky to get a lunch break - time off is rarely & begrudingly given so it's extremely difficult for me to get out of the office for an interview, let alone meet bloody recruitment agents with a greedy gleam in their eye.

If anyone can help, I will be extremely grateful.

    Pat.

    ps: Newbie alert!! :D

Jobs.ie (many jobs) & Staff.ie (few jobs) keep agencies to a minimum. They also have "exclude recruitment agency" checkboxes.

Any of the major job sites will allow you to search under Employer only so I don't see how this is a problem, unless you are selecting "Recruitment" or "both" when searching. Funnily enough I know countless people who think their is a business opportunity in supplying a site that has 'real' jobs only on it. Where in fact, that option is already available and they are missing the actual opportunity.
Sorry that is a bit off topic. But Irishjobs.ie will certainly let you search for jobs just posted by companies.

FAS don't seem to allow agencies. I could be wrong about that.
