Yeah just got the mail there from Brian Peters promotions. Machado's best days are probably behind him, but this is still a good return fight to the ring for Bernard. We'll see how he fairs.. Machado doesn't have an overly impressive KO record, so he's a safe fight for Dunne.

After this they really need to press for a rematch with Kiko.

This guy looks like a good comeback opponent.
has anyone seen him box before?

Whats the chances of Henry Coyle being on the bill? Surely some Mayo contingent.

no,... but yer man fighting Dunne , is half a stone lighter by rite.... 8 or 10 years older , not a big puncher , and has 4 of his last 6 matches.

Peters is going to be so selective in future....

Best of luck to Bernard. I hope his come back goes well.
I think if he trains right, drops the attitude and starts fighting good opponents well then a come back is possible. He should have a good few heavy fights before he gets back in with Kiko. I reckon he could out box kiko if he worked on that guard.
BTW has kiko made any defences of that title? I haven't heard of any. Surely he'll be stripped if he hasn't.

Well Machado is a proper Bantamweight now(I doubt he can still make Super-Flyweight judging by his age and when he last fought there) so he is a division lower than Dunne , but that's down to age more than actual size .

I'm sure I've seen him before but can't remember anything of him .
8 years older , not a puncher and has lost 4 of his last 6........tbh this is exactly what I was expecting first fight back , and I assume it will be slow enough progress in stepping up in opposition again too .

Martinez defends his title this day next week against Rendall Munroe live on Sky . I fancy Munroe for the upset .
