Junk email options in Outlook 2003

    Yesterday I got a junk email purpotedly from ****@eircom.net
    When I added sender to blocked list, it's my own address is added

    My questions are:

    How come this sender is able to insert my address in the From field?
    How do I block this sender if he's going to use the same from and to email addressesd?

    you can use any email address you like to send a mail, you just put it in as your email address in your account settings, and outlook will take your word for it

    the password you set up is purly to recieve your mails


    more then likely there is probably no one sending this, its just a script/virus running on someones pc sending message to "a"@pc-owners-email-address and from "a"@pc-owners-email-address where a steps up from the number 0 to the letters ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ


    difficult to block this one, but some spam app must stop them
