I have been burned twice now buying an 8GB USB memory key last year and a 4 GB key this year.

They are both very slow to write to. Can anyone recommend a "fast" usb stick 4GB+ ?

    many thanks

    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=341705

    Read speed - 30MBps
    Write speed - 15MBps

    It's only €25 as well.

I would second the OCZ choice, I have bought several OCZ rally 2's and find them great , fast and sturdy.

I know, It's do-able if you're buying a few items or a full build, but for one small item it's a bitch.

Take that pen drive, 50% of its total cost, on top again, just to post it.

That's essentially increasing the price by about 50%.

Same as above except it's only €22.44 and delivery is only a fiver.

In total that's only €2.44 more then your original post, in the bag for €27.44.

Much more acceptable compared to Komplett? It's so easy to see an item that appears to be good value on Komplett & hit the buy button, Isn't it?

They really should have a much reduced postal levy on small items such as pen drives?

Are you in the wings Mr Komplett?

I didn't even look around for that. I just went to the first on-line store I could think of and searched for that. If you look around you might find it even cheaper.

lads, what do you think of this one?

I've a £20 Amazon voucher I could use for this. I'll just send it to our UK office and I'll be over there soon.

I found the Flash Voyager GT from Corsair.

    http://www.corsair.com/products/voyager.aspx

    According to web reviews
34MB/s read and 28MB/s write although these are old (summer 07) reviews so may be superceeded by now.

Anyone have any opinion? Where to buy ?

That's the one I was looking for the other day. For some reason I thought it was made by ocz that's why I found the atv. I've never used one but they are meant to be brilliant. I think they're expensive though.
