Has anyone played here ? I'd like to hear some opinions as I may be playing there next week.

I can't find much about it on the web, not much info on the website anyway.

I played it last year and was pleasantly surprised. Good layout and in great condition.

Played it a couple of years ago, good track. Popular society venue. Very long walks between green and tee's if memory serves!

Played it a few times years ago. I found it enjoyable - maybe a bit unchallenging for a low h'capper.

If you happen to know Dundrum House in Tipperary - when I played that more recently, it reminded me of Kilkea Castle.

I think it's not great, but everyone else seems to like it. Some nice holes, but I thought pretty bland overall.

played there lots of times. great course and top class resturant in clubhouse. bit soft in winter but good through summer. a good bit of water around landing areas when you drive so you may have to lay up or go for a big one. challanging course. you'll enjoy it. bring lots of balls.......

I found it to be nice myself, especially the 16th? the one with the downhill drive with a carry of 200 or so over the river but only 240ish to the far side of the fairway with a sharp right dogleg. That was a tough shot to get over and still hit the fairway. I played with a society and I think 1/3 of us hit it in the water, 1/3 came up short and 1/3 went too far. Only about 3 or 4 people hit the fairway!
