Any advise guys as to how to remove and replace a selector switch on my D boys M4 A1? its got really sloppy, and seems to be working its way loose of the body on the selector side. can't see how is comes off without stripping down the receiver completely(never done this before) and where would I find a complete replacement selector that fits this baby? also is there a such a thing as an ambidextrous selector switch and mag release for same piece? cos I'm bloody awkward, and lefthaned!!!:D

you have to strip the gun to do it mate., take the stock, stock tube, mag catch, body pins, hand grip etc off and remove the body pin above the trigger, then the gearbox will come free from the reciever, you have to pop the little disc out of the right side of the gun so that you can put a screw driver through to remove the fire selector.,

yeah we were supposed to call up on Sunday, but it all went a bit pete tong! and two of our team have headed back to the u.k. so it might not be for a bit.

I'm gonna see can I pick up a new selector and see if I can give this a go. I rarely ever have the opportunity to call to Dublin, so HRTA is gonna be a treat when it happens, that also goes for the I.A.A as well. missed both the A.G.M and the E.G.M. When I get the selector, if I chicken out I'll give you a shout if thats ok..:)
