Will gamecube discs work in a wii??

Seen a few games on ebay for the gamecube, but the seller says they'll work in a wii as well - can anyone confirm??

Failing that, when are they releasing a bomberman game for the wii!?!?:mad:

Ya, they do work, but you'll need to buy a Gamecube controller to operate them.

yes but sorry to have to confuse the situation but would I be right that the wii was bought in europe and so were all the gamecube games?

If so then they will work perfectly in your wii as long as you have gamecube controllers (and a gamecube memory card while optional is mostly necessary)

(just for PAL issues...)

Oh and theres two bomberman games for the wii

Yes you will need a separate Gamecube memory card.

The Virtual Console is the online game shopping facility from Nintendo.

Ya and wii games dont need memory cards by the way, you save them onto the system which is handy

like tallpaul said you just need ones for the gamecube games though I dont think you can buy them in the shops anymore so if you don't have any id say online is your only chance (ebay and the likes)

The arcade will do - she only wanted bomberman, and there's no bomberman out for the wii yet.
Got it plugged in last night, some cool live features - compared to xbox, weather is pretty accurate so far!
