Damaged NDS Lite top screen

    The top screen of my DS lite is damaged and I was wondering is there anywhere in Ireland that repairs them? If I am stuck doing it myself I was wondering does anyone know if you cock up the resoldering of the internal speaker wires does that just mean that the speakers dont work but the headphone jacks will or that there will be no sound fullstop?

    If your in Dublin, consolerepairIreland might be the crowd to go with, there very expensive though.

    I repair DSs either, i'm coming up to exams though so i wouldn't be able to do it till mid march.

    No, i really doubt it headphone slot is on motherboard, it wouldn't make sense to send it up to the top screen to bring it back down, it would also have to come back down the wire it went up on which makes even less sense (as there is only 3: a ribbon cable for sound and screen, a Wi-fi cable and a mic cable)

    Damaged topscreen on the DS lite is easily the hardest thing to replace, your basically stripping the whole console down. But if your willing to give it a go give me a shout and i'll try give you as much info as i can
