I know this was mentioned not so long ago but I thought I'd bring it up again.

Would it not be in the interest of everyone concerned to have a standard set of tournament guidelines for tournament organisers(like myself) who operate out of a casino and without a licence?
Details like min reguired starting stackts/blind levels/clock etc...

its a very mucky area in general but if there was some governing body of it then some progress could be made to standardise poker outside of casinos etc.

Anyone have any views in relation to this?

    Carlo

From the discussions that have taken place it seems like a noble idea that would be very hard to implement, and since it is voluntary then it might be pointless as most people who play regional non casino based (and a lot of those that play other types of poker as well) would not know that there is a set of guidelines that their game may not be following.

Tend To Agree, Why Not Set Up A Group / Body Between The Tourney Organisors
    The Federation Of Tourney Organisors
A Set Of Rules (not Guidelines)
    A Standard Package,
Basically A Standard That Players Will Expect To See And Get For Their Money
And While We Are In Fantasia
Why Not Some Agreement To Be Nice To Each Other, And I Dont Mean Only When Face To Face

    Now Wouldnt That Be Nice

Its Nice To Be Nice, Someone Said, But Then Again Some People Are Just Not Nice
