Some training groups specifically for the Mini Marathon will be listed here - www.womensminimarathon.ie/race/default.40.LE.asp

Or look for a beginner 10km training plan. There are lots available, just google. This is a good intro one - www.halhigdon.com/10ktraining/10knovice.htm

Class, I might try and get a few mates to enter with me! Dress up as the Spice Girls or something!

Or you could do the Great Ireland 10km run in April, it's sooner and you can still wear a dress if you really want :p

That'd take a lot of training, I've ran ten km once thise year, and it took and hour and fifteen minutes!

    Do ya have the date?

Yep, it's on the 6th of April in the Pheonix Park. If you've done it once already then it wouldn't take that much training, just doing 5 or 6 km a few times a week or even build up to it. One hour fifteen is pretty respectable and would be faster than thousands who will be there ;)

For more info see the event webpage here.

I google'd it and found the page thanks! I think I'll definitely enter this. Infact I think I'll start training for it tomorrow!
