    Hey guys,

Used to work as a bouncer few years back, and found it to be handy money.. I'm just back in the country from a stint of a couple of years abroad and thinking about heading back into it for a while... anyone know the current/typical hourly rates these days for working as a bouncer??

    Thanks in advance.

Depends on where in the country you are really.

I've found that some places down the country can pay as little as 12 - 14 quid per hour. Whereas some places will pay a set rate per night i.e. 100 quid, and the hours could vary.

In Dublin the standard rate is probably 14 - 17 quid per hour, again depending on where you go, and whether you work for the venue directly or via a company.

Don't forget that you've to be licenced now - check www.psa.gov.ie

If you are free at weekends they are looking for staff for Croke Park events.
Far less stress and more sociable hours.
However………pay is a miserly €10 per hour. Seems to mainly students doing it, you might walk in as a supervisor.
Plus you get to break up rows between rowdy Dubs and mucksavages! :D

Job sites are banned in my workplace but I’ve seen it over on www.nixers.ie. Just search for security staff
