In heads up anyway. I have been playin for about a year now and I would consider myself average.

I am 99.9999999% sure the cards are decided before the hands are given out.. In heads up Sit and goes for eg.The cards are not drawn at random. Before the game starts it will decide one person to get the run of the cards at the start and as the blinds go up it will favour the other person. You rarely see the luck shared at around the same stage.

Another thing is If you lose all in pre flop with Ak for eg against Qk but you still have about 100 chips left. The person who lost with Ak realistically should be about 5% chance of winning the game. WRONG! Not with PP. It lets that person get back into the game and they prety much win every single hand from then on.

The last two games that I have played. I was knocked down to 100 chips from bad beat All in Pre flop. The blinds are high enough so I am gorced to go All in. I win with qj against KK. I the win with 53 vs A3 and I prety much win every single hand from then on. Coincidence it happend twice. NO! Not with PP. It is common!

Before you go to sit at a cash table. Look around at each table and see what seat is doing the best. Open up a new table and take thhat seat. It is Unbelievable. You dont even have to be good because the cards just keep running your way.

I am up nearly 15g on Paddy Power Poker.
NOt because I am good but because I HAVE SUSSED OUT THIS RIGGED POKER SITE. If I were to play on any other site I wouldnt be up near that. I would probably be down money.

Why would this be the case? What do they gain from it? In before lock.

Its just the way it works with Paddy Power.I dont have a clue why.Maybe no effort was put into the Poker Site. The cards are not drawn at random. Before each hand starts The cards are already decided. If you play heads up alot you will realise this. I play Turbo Heads up so each game lasts about half an hour. You should see some of the hands that come out and its only a half hour game OF HEADS UP!!!.

As most of you know at this stage, i used ot work for Paddy power. I had this story told to me at least 3 times a week for 2 years.

I don't miss having to deal directly with online poker players.

I think people get daft ideas into their heads, despite ever being able to offer any logical reason a site would operate like this.

You have won 95K playing online poker?
In what time period and how much have you lost during the same time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭Glowingmind

I'll happily bet that the customer support folks at every poker site out there get just as many "OMG your site is rigged" mails as PPP does.
Unfortunately customer support staff aren't allowed reply with "Then why the F do you keep playing on the site if you think it's rigged?"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 82 ✭✭footballcrazy

"Then why the F do you keep playing on the site if you think it's rigged?"

Why wouldnt I want to play on the Site. Its easy money.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭Glowingmind

Well obvioulsy if you're winning you're gonna keep playing. Strangly the people who complain about sites being rigged the most are losing players.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,538 ✭✭✭Requiem4adream

If you think about it logically the very last thing a poker site would do is rig it in anyones favour! I know it can get frustrating getting bad beats or suck-outs, or even sometimes you "know it's coming" but honestly online poker is about as close to true randomness achievable online.

lol, i was obviously taking the piss... online poker is not rigged, although it is very tempting to think it is.

"There was a tremendous crowd in the gaming-rooms. What an arrogant, greedy crowd it was! I pressed forward towards the middle of the room until I had secured a seat at a croupier's elbow. Then I began to play in timid fashion, venturing only twenty or thirty gulden at a time. Meanwhile, I observed and took notes. It seemed to me that calculation was superfluous, and by no means possessed of the importance which certain other players attached to it, even though they sat with ruled papers in their hands, whereon they set down the coups, calculated the chances, reckoned, staked, and--lost exactly as we more simple mortals did who played without any reckoning at all.

However, I deduced from the scene one conclusion which seemed to me reliable --namely, that in the flow of fortuitous chances there is, if not a system, at all events a sort of order. This, of course, is a very strange thing. For instance, after a dozen middle figures there would always occur a dozen or so outer ones. Suppose the ball stopped twice at a dozen outer figures; it would then pass to a dozen of the first ones, and then, again, to a dozen of the middle ciphers, and fall upon them three or four times, and then revert to a dozen outers; whence, after another couple of rounds, the ball would again pass to the first figures, strike upon them once, and then return thrice to the middle series--continuing thus for an hour and a half, or two hours. One, three, two: one, three, two. It was all very curious. Again, for the whole of a day or a morning the red would alternate with the black, but almost without any order, and from moment to moment, so that scarcely two consecutive rounds would end upon either the one or the other. Yet, next day, or, perhaps, the next evening, the red alone would turn up, and attain a run of over two score, and continue so for quite a length of time--say, for a whole day. Of these circumstances the majority were pointed out to me by Mr. Astley, who stood by the gaming-table the whole morning, yet never once staked in person."

Ok, so I'm coming to this fresh. I've only played a handful of rounds of poker but never online.

15Ks is a lot of money to anyone. Is this a fulltime thing or you just playing as a hobby? What sort of money is being made playing poker online (net)?

bren, ur obv very new... id say just start reading up more. some people make 100s of thousands a year.... some lose that much. Let the thread get back on topic.... whats more important is to get to the bottom of this rigged poker site

ps: no, I'm not a pro or anything, its just a hobby that gives me some extra pocket money... for things like paying off car loans. And buying motorbikes!!!!

15k is alot of money to me and that is not the exact figure.I am up 10k on tournys and i Rounded up a guess of about 5k for cash games.(Could well be more)

Anyway, I aint a good player by any means. When I started off I was never close to this amount. About half year into it I realised these glitches in the site.

You could realy say that I play the site more than the players and The sight certainly aint winning. :)

I am taking advantage of glitches in the site. No harm done there. :)

This one might sound like the second part of my name but there are stages in the day for the sit and go heads up where the first person to enter the table always gets the run of the cards and always has the upper hand. I have gone through days of winning 10+ games in a row (Not talking ****) where I would create the game everytime and win.

It all sounds nuts but it is working for me.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 82 ✭✭footballcrazy

Could someone just enter a Paddy Power cash game and look around at every other table (Same amount of players and same blinds) And find what seat is doing far better than the rest of the seats.

Create a new table and take that seat and let us know how you get on.
