    I went to Youghal this afternoon and it's a great spot for photos, although today was more of a scouting mission because I was there at mid-day. I'll defo be heading back when the light is more forgiving and warmer...

    I would straighten the first ever so slightly and try to bring out a bit of the blue sky in the 2nd through photoshop. they're both great shots though!

    Really like the first one (although as Ideo says you need to straighten it a bit). Were you using an ND filter?

    Thanks lads, I've done a second version of the black and white shot and I'm happier with it alright - thanks for your help...

    @john - yes I had an ND filter alright 8X (3 stops I think).
