ACER - TravelMate 4720

    I have a ACER - TravelMate 4720 and my problem with it is that the cursor moves randomly when I am typing. It randomly positions itself anywhere within the text box.

    This random movement causes it to land anywhere on the screen, sometimes overwriting text or even causing me to delete work. I type pretty fast and this 'bug' is causing me some headaches, cause I have to slow down and also 'undo' the errors.

    I have tried hitting FN / F7 to lock the touch pad, but it makes no difference. It happens with the mouse in or if I just use the touch pad. It also happens if I am using Word, typing an email in yahoo or hotmail.

    I'll be happy to hear any feedback or suggestion so I can get rid of this problem. Thanks in advance!
