2 nd fix joinery rates

    hi all,anyone got any ideas what rates are for 2nd fix joinery.got quotes recently of between 4-5 thousand euro for making and fitting 13 red deal frames,hanging 13 oak doors,fitting handles and red deal skirting and architrave throughout house(2500 sq foot 2 storey).also he's going to fit stairs spindals and handrails plus a staira stairs.

    Doesn't sound too bad, actually maybe a small bit cheap, would wonder about the standard of finishing

    sounds ok to me. But I would advise you to ask to see some of his work and make sure there is not a bunch of apprentices doing the work for ya.

    A bad second fix can ruin your houses finish.
