    Hi all,
As the title states, I'm looking for the best value 4-8Gb mp3 player for a 10 year old. Lookin for an online store if possible. Must be easy for a 10y/o to use, she can manage the 256Mb she has atm. Please don't suggest any form of ipod as i detest Apple even more than i detest Microsoft. Most importantly it must be fashionable :p
    What would you folks suggest?

    Thanks in advance.
    Pog

She'll be picking music from a 70Gb collection, stored on a file server therefore itunes isn't the easiest media player for this. ATM she's been using the WMP sync function which works easily & she can change her music without my input. I use linux but she has the option of Windows on my main pc.

I have a 20Gb ipod myself for years & I've ditched itunes in favour of dopisp, which allows you sync it with WMP. From my experience with ipods i find them rather troublesome & don't have a long lifespan, i rma'd mine, even my brothers packed in after 13months without being abused.

Creative one looks good conzy, any other suggestions? How's Creatives build quality? Have another brother had a Creative Zen pack in on him 2.

I'm looking for something with good build quality & a longer lifespan..........well longer than i've seen so far

Not sure... american online stores will always be cheaper than over here.. ebay too...but that'll require a bit of looking into on your part ;)
If i'm buying online locally I buy from AMP3.co.uk because their customer service are top notch

Found this 8Gb clix2 on Ebay with cradle. Sellers got good feedback 2. Works out about same price as 4Gb from amp3.co.uk
