    Hi
I have sky sat digital tv. I have one normal sky box and 2 tvs in other rooms running off a magic eye, these 2 are rf outs(i figured out today). I am getting no signal in the rf out tvs at the moment. I tried everyting new cables magic eyes swapping etc. I was in the attic today and i noticed the blue light in the booster
(lpa140d) was not on. I have no idea about these things but this was always on also there is no power cable powering the "blue light" but it was definitely on before so i assume the sky cable was powering it somehow. Do these boosters blow or why would the power not be going to it. Or is that even the problem.

    Any ideas thanks

At the back of your sky box there is two rf outlets. The cable that goes to your amp must come from RF2.

Rf1 does not send any power out and is useful only for either test purposes or to the tv nearest it.

The power must also be switched on the box.

    to check its switched off

    Press services
    Press 0,1 then select
    press no4
check rf power is turned on.

I'm not sure of the amp you are using how many outlets does it have?? Usually a sky box will power an amp upto 4outlets any after that usually require a power source also...

thanks steveon. I have checked all that and it setup as you say. The booster has in and 4 outs it has a separate 12v adpater input. I never had anything plugged into this. But can the booster itself blow or clap out as I say there eas always the blue light on but no light now. Is t worth getting a new booster or am i on the wrong track

The easiest way to check it is to unplug the input of the amp and connect it to one of the outputs and see if the magic eye now works without it. You may need to unplug the box and reset it for the magic eye to take effect...
