Em I need ideas for a technical report for college.
    • You must select a specific topic from Computer Science (NOT a topic from one of the other modules in the BSc in Computer Science and Software Engineering).

Have to have my idea in by Monday.

Was thinking of doing how stats are done on skysports ect with how they track how much a player has run through out the match and how they can computer generate an image to see if the ball passed the line.

Think this would be a good thing to it on?

    Any other ideas?

    Bear wrestling FTW.

I guess you could do something on synergising business systems through a ERP platform. Colleges love **** like that. Also, you could do your own homework :D

What are your computer related interests? What are your skills coding wise? As I dont know these, I will just throw out a few ideas:

If you have any dissasembly/de-compilation experience, why not find a botnet or worm and dissect it. Write how the different parts work etc., surmise what its goal was etc.

Spam is always something people are interested in, so a technical overview of various anti-spam techniques could be of benefit. I have written a couple of reports on spam so can give you a help with that one if you want.

If I come up with any other ideas ill let you know.
