Footballers I've Met

I tried to respond to this in the Soccer thread but I forgot that I need to sign some legal documents before I can access that forum, and who has the time? So I'm bringing this thread to the unsubscribed masses.

    Anyway, back on topic:

My girlfriend and I were staying at the same hotel as the Man U team last year in Milan (when they were spanked 3-0). Got a pic of my girlfriend with Louis Saha. Pleasant guy.

I met Jack Charlton in RTE a few weeks ago. He was great, funny, charming, friendly. Come back, Jack.

Neville Southall (former Everton keeper) stood on my foot when I was a kid back in 1990. I was autograph hunting on the pitch before their pre-season friendly with Athlone town.

Seeing as it's advice time, why don't you avoid reading threads that have "football" in the title? And shut your gob anyway, football's good ;)

Kevin Moran. When I was a kid my dad was a DJ on a pirate radio station and they got an interview with him in the basement of some shop. So, he brought me along. He was such a nice guy. Though I was only a tot, so didn't really comprehend how famous he was. But I do remember how nice he was.

Okay, I was lazy. But I can't understand why I'd need to do something special to access the football forum. Sex and sexuality, maybe, but football??

And I don't see how there is football overkill in SHOPS? Looks like your whole anti-football argument is collapsing around your ears like the shammy house of cards it is.

And yet you didn't report the post.

But I agree anyway. Soccer to the Soccer forums.

I met Maradonna once, did a few lines with him after we got back from the pub. Sound chap.

Oh yeah and Cantona kicked me in the head once for calling him a french bastard.

This is not a football thread; it's a soccer thread. Hie off to the soccer forum. If you don't like their rules, try another site.

Hey, I posted in Soccer! :)

I met Gazza with my family in the 80's. He was very young and shy apparently, I don't really remember him, it was before he drank much though.
