T-Shirt Printing (Dublin)

    Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a T-Shirt Printing place in Dublin that will put a specific picture I have in mind on the front of a plain black t-shirt (possibly along with another logo type picture), along with some lettering (9 letters).

Can I print off a picture from the internet and bring it in to them to put on a t-shirt? I don't know if this is possible or not.

If it is, could they enlarge the picture, as it is quite small when printed off on paper?

How much would I be looking at for this to be done?

Thanks to everyone who helps :)

There's a place on Camden Street that will do it but if it's a one off it's expensive I think. It's called something like Camden Printing, they have a website but damned if I can remember it.

I think it's called the T-Shirt Printing shop (original or what?) in Stephen's Green shopping centre upstairs. A few of my friends have got it done before: brought in a picture and got it enlarged on to a t-shirt. If it's quite small don't know how clear it'll be when enlarged..

Sorry no clue on pricing, depends on t-shirt size, picture size, amount of writing, etc

You could get it done on the web: www.cafepress.com or www.spreadshirt.com

I'm looking for something similar - I want to embroider a logo onto garments, & so far I've found:

    http://www.emeraldembroidery.ie/
    http://www.cuchulainnsportswear.ie/tshirts.htm
    http://www.embroidme.ie/samples/

Dunno if any are any good, I'm about to email them!

I got exactly what you're talking about done (i.e. picture off the internet put onto a T-shirt) at that shop on Camden Street which is called Camden Clothing, website is www.camdenclothing.com
They were great, it was pretty cheap (even cheaper if you provide the T-shirt), and I just emailed them the image and they sorted the rest.
    Highly recommended.

You can also buy special paper in Reads and PC shops that allows you to print the image onto the paper and then iron it onto chosen t-shirt.

My mate used to do this all the time and they worked out really well.
    Just a thought....

These guys are on Camden Street, on the same side as (a few shops up, Rathmines direction) Anseo.

It cost 10 quid, but I supplied my own t-shirt. They seem to have their own, large selection of plain t-shirts there too. I was happy enough with the quality.

I brought in a photoshop image, but I'm sure any format image would do. Save the image you want and bring it in on a blank disc.

Will they just print out letters on a tshirt aswell..or do they only do photos?..

Thought I would ressurect this rather than make a new one..Also I only want one done will it be ready the same day or at the latest the next day?

I got some printed in the T-shirt Printing shop in the Ilac Centre recently (shame shop as Stephen's Green).
I was told that once you email the picture and info etc by noon on the Tues, it should be ready for collection on the Friday :)

They email the picture etc to their head office in England, who then print it out, and post it to the shop.
Only bad thing about this is if they make a mess of printing it, they dont have a second copy to use.

When we were getting some printed she printed some on the wrong size t-shirt, and we couldn't get it fixed.

Ahh I see. And do you remember how much it was?

I have got this done a few times and tbh I have found both camden clothing and the shop in st stephens green sc (name escapes me) to be a bit over priced for what is being offered and the quality is quite poor. Although speed is a positive factor, but wouldnt reccomend it really.

€27.50 for anything you want on it (not sure if they charge extra to print on both front and back).
€20.50 if you supply your own t-shirt.

I only got it done recently so those are the current prices.

For future reference I went searching today in Dublin and Dun Laoghaire.

Found a fantastic place in Dun Laoghaire thats brilliantly cheap. Ill soon let ye know about quality.

Its called 'Images' and its in the shopping centre in Dun Laoghaire. Takes 1 day to do. Cost 16 yoyos (including tshirt) and 4 yoyos for each additional print on the tshirt.

They also do dirt cheap (in comparison to other places) printing to canvas, which I have been looking for for a while now, so shall be taking full advantage.

Heres their website, but honestly its better to go in and talk to em. V. friendly.

Yes, I went looking for them yesterday.
Art & Hobby in Jervis said they did.

Nowhere sells them singularly though, youve got to buy a pack of 10 or thereabouts which will set you back about 25 yoyos.

Theres loads of other places try any art shop or really good newsagent for transfer paper and theyll either have it or know where you can get it

For future reference, the quality of the print was fantastic, I had trouble with my memory card but managed to print it off in a net café and they scanned the page in perfectly. One thing I will say is that the tshirt looked a liittle cheap, but tbh you get exactly what you paid for, if you really wanted you could run down to Pennys down the road. Otherwise, I'd reccomend em!:D
