Cricinfo's coverage died a while ago, but CricketEurope reports that Ireland made 305 for 5 in their 50 overs, a superb achievement.

The latest on CricketEurope gives Zim at 34/3 off 12.

And the coverage comes back just in time for the last over!

    Final scores:

    Ireland 305/5 in 50
Zimbabwe 97 all out in 29.5

A superb performance from Ireland, with the top order all firing, led by Isobel Joyce's 70, and the middle order pushing the total on nicely. 6.1 runs per over is a good run-rate in any standard of cricket.

Pick of the bowling is Isobel Joyce again, with 5 for 17 off 7.5 - it's rapidly turning into Isobel's tournament.

good win by the ladies, after posting the highest total in the competition to date they bowled the zimboes out for 97 with isobel joyce adding a fifer to her 70 with the bat.
that'll give them lots of confidence for the game against south africa who they need to beat to qualify for the world cup, it'll be tricky the south africans are probably the best team in the competition.
