There are signs up about Des Bishop performing in the Davis Theatre on thursday(no date stated) for only €3. I expect this is tomorrow.

But is it in Irish or something, considering that all the posters are as Gaeilge?

    Anyone know?

    Email from an Cumman Gaelach:
    A chairde gael,

Tá deá-scéal againn daíobh! Beidh DES BISHOP ag déanamh a chéad gig go hiomlán trí gaeilge anseo i gColáiste na Trionóide an DÉARDAOIN seo, do baill den Cumann Gaelach amháin. Beidh an gig ag tosnú ag 7pm, agus ní bheidh ach €3 ar na ticéidí!

Níl ach méad beag ticéidí ar fáil, so má tá suim agat bheith i láthar, seol r-phost go cumann@csc.tcd.ie mar freagra roimh 5pm ar an Máirt. Déanfar crannchar as na freagraí a bhfaigheann muid, agus gheobhaigh na daoine a fuair ticéid r-phost ar ais ag insint dóibh cathain a mbeidh na ticéidí ar fáil le bhailiú. Ná déan dearmaid go bhfuil an gig seo go hiomlán as Gaeilge, agus beidh ticéidí á thairscint do daoine le Gaeilge amháin!!!!!

Ná déan dearmaid ar an Ciorcal comhrá, an Máirt seo ag 7 i seomra 8 san Atrium.

    Ádh mór,

    Séamus Conboy,
    Reachtaire,
    An Cumann Gaelach,
    Coláiste na Tríonóíde

Part I put in bold means the show will be completely in Irish and only those who can speak Irish can get tickets.

I really wanna go, but I won't be around at that time tomorrow.

What do they do, give you a quick exam while you're in the queue? :D

lol, well I presume it's a goodwill thing. I mean, it'd be a bit mean to take someone else's ticket if you could understand little to nothing of what was going on.

Well, the show will be completely as Gaeilge, so unless you can follow what's goin on, you probably won't really enjoy it/ understand it.

Up to you really, if you manage to swing a ticket and show up, but you may end up sitting there bored off your skull.

Beidh mise ann ar aon nós. Deirfinn go mbeidh sé go maith.

Seo leagan gaeilge a rinne sé de 'Jump Around' a bhí an-ghreannmhar.

I wonder what the Davis Theatre have to say about the "non-Irish need not apply" policy...
