RealPlayer and rte.ie

    Hi all,

    Wondering if I could get a bit of help with RealPlayer and rte.ie

    Anytime I click an RTE video I get a

    A general error has occurred

    I've using RealPlayer 11 Plus which I have uninstalled and reinstalled clean twice and no improvement. My firewall is set to always allow RealPlayer connect.

    Oddly enough, if the feed is live it will stream, anything else won't.

    Any advice? Thanks.

    Sorted it out - appears there is a bug in RP 11 so just rolled back to RP 10.5. Thought I'd put this up in case anyone else has this problem.

    can I recommend "real alternative" from http://free-codecs.com/

    Its a real player / decoder that runs under media player classic. eautiful, fast and without any nags or ads. They also have "quicktime alternative" and many more. great site.
