Protein Shakes - where to buy

    Guys,

I have recently started training hard and taking protein to supplement my diet.

I am eating promax bars between my main meals and taking protein shakes when i can (using promax natural and fruit juice etc).

I went onto maximuscle to buy the promax shakes so i can use them as meal supplements rather than having to find something to mix the protein into but i decided to ask on here before hand for advice (the price is crazy!)

Is there any other nice tasting, protein shake that i could use as a breakfast shake/pre/post training drink etc etc that people would recommend? As i said i am taking promax natural and promax bars but with the natural, i find myself not taking it because i have to find something to mix it with.

What should i get and where?

there's a few links in the sticky above,

    Personally I use www.myprotein.co.uk and www.bulkpowders.co.uk,

You could try mixing your promax natural with drinking chocolate (cola cao) and skim milk just to finish it off.

    Cheers

Yep i was gonna say bulkpowders, it doesn't taste that bad bit like milk and after 2 weeks u get used to the taste anyway.

Argos have a whole page devoted to Maximuscle products. I personally take Promax Extreme (Strawberry flavour) which I mix with slimline milk. Tastes like a proper milkshake and does'nt leave a terrible aftertaste.

Ok I am goign to go the other way as per usual on this and am going to ask you to post up your average daily diet as you seem to suggest that qute a bit of your daily protein intake is coming from supplementation as oppose to eating whole foods so chances are your diet could probably do with a look over.

If I was to replace Maximuscle Promax with this: http://www.bulkpowders.co.uk/product.php?xProd=41&xSec=18

What else would I need to add to get the same effect - glucose?

How would you mix it, as in how much of the BP product+glucose would be equal to a scoop of Promax?

    Thanks...
